LEESBURG – Over the past week Jennifer Wexton has proven that she will finish strong in the race to represent Virginia’s Tenth District in Congress. From the final candidate forum at the ADAMS Center, to appearances with major surrogates, to packed canvass launches including a turnout of 200+ in Winchester, to running in the Halloween Parade in Leesburg, Jennifer has shown that she has no intention of slowing down.

Here are some highlights from the past few days:

A confident, substantive appearance at the ADAMS Center candidate forum. From the Prince William Times:

The candidates spoke during separate appearances Friday night before an audience of more than 300 during a forum at the All Dulles Area Muslim Society mosque in Sterling. ‘Nobody wants to roll of up their sleeves to find a solution’ to the health care insurance problem, Wexton said. ‘When I’m elected to Congress that’s what I’ll do.’ Comstock faced shouts of ‘Answer the question!’ from audience members unhappy with an indirect response.

All Hands On Deck: surrogates who came to VA-10 to help Jennifer get out the vote this past week include former Secretary of State Madeleine AlbrightGovernor Ralph NorthamSenator Tim KaineLt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, AG Mark Herring, Representatives Gerry Connolly and Don Beyer, and Center for American Progress Action Funder President and CEO Neera Tanden

Somehow we saw even more people come out to volunteer at canvass launches, including shockingly a large crowd of over 200  in Winchester on Sunday:

Jennifer marched in the Leesburg Halloween Parade with a full team behind her, wearing a costume that was a big hit with the crowd of thousands:
